Splish Splash!
We spent the afternoon grooming the dogs. (I guess I should say Kevin spent the afternoon grooming the dogs, I spent the afternoon reassuring them that everything would be okay, and then taking goofy pictures of them!) Maybe next time, we'll try to find a professional dog groomer in the area--our upstairs bathroom is now a swamp!
The dogs are now almost dry, though very frizzy! Maybe we should have used conditioner? Hopefully their fur will relax a little as it dries more!

What do you do when your dog is soaking wet? Towel dry? Hairdryer? Put it in front of the fireplace?
And how do the cats get along with the dogs?

Hi Astrid--We just toweled the dogs off--as much as they hate the noise of the vacuum cleaner, I'm guessing they would be really upset by a blow dryer.
Kermit, the collie, is fine with the cats--he's a little scared of them due to being swatted in the nose with sharp little cat claws a couple of times. Honey, the golden retriever mix, wants to be their friend but must occasionally be reminded to be gentle with them. She and the big guy, Toonces, are best friends--he snuggles up with her and she'll give him a bath, it's very cute. The other cats are a little warier of her, but really they all do well together. We have more spats between just the cats than we do between the dogs and cats. Emily
